Shibori is the Japanese term for a method of resist dyeing, which creates a unique pattern of colours that creates tones of navy and denim to off-white .
Spots: Inspired by the white dots that pattern a whale shark. These spots are a like the whale shark’s own fingerprint, as no two whale sharks have the same pattern. The same could be said for my hand dyed and printed textiles, each piece is unique, which is the beauty of a handmade item.
